Honoring Mitchell Simon of East Amherst, NY

Mitchell Simon, a fifth grader from Amherst, who had been suffering from a congenital condition since birth was recently given the gift of life. “In December he started having complications. He was hospitalized and placed on the transplant waiting list. We got a call in April and because of another’s liver, the miracle for Mitchell happened,” Mitchell’s mother said.
