Senator Mark Grisanti encourages constituents to help save lives this Labor Day
BUFFALO, NY –Senator Mark Grisanti will be hosting an open-to-the-public blood drive with Unyts, WNY’s only organ, eye, tissue and community blood center. All donors will receive a free lunch!
When: Monday, September 3rd, 9am-1pm
Where: Unyts Neighborhood Blood Donation Center
96 Niagara Street, Tonawanda
Our local hospitals need to maintain an adequate supply of blood for emergency situations and it is up to Unyts’ Community Blood Service and the generosity of our donors to help provide safe levels of blood inventory.
• One pint of blood can save up to 3 lives
• About 1 in 7 people entering a hospital need blood
• Unyts is the primary supplier of blood products for all hospitals in Niagara and Wyoming Counties, ECMC and for Kaleida Health.
All donated blood stays here in WNY, to help LOCAL patients, in LOCAL hospitals
